i never slept much as a child, nor do i much now, so i always watched a lot of tv. i watched pretty much every show, whether i remember it or not. but my favorites were always cheers, moonlighting, family ties, spencer for hire, rockford files, maverick (i love james gardner!) roseanne, murphy brown, cosby show, different world, wkrp (in cincinnati!), frank's place, molly dodd, mash, batman, kate and ally, tracy ullman, gary schandling show, three's company, soap...then later ren and stimpy, kids in the hall, star trek, the x-files, beavis and butthead, simpsons, seinfeld (yes, i was a child when those started).

and that's all i can think of right now. most of what i watched was in reruns (and still is). god, i love television.

Does anyone around my age (born in '81) remember Faerie Tale Theatre? That show was great. It was celebrities acting out children's faerie tales, and it was really funny. I like Robin Williams in "The Frog Prince" and Billy Crystal and Jeff Goldblum in "The Three Little Pigs." I just found out recently that they have all the episodes on a DVD box set. I'm definitely going to have to get it -- what memories.
