Stuart: A life Backwards

That movie was a thing of beuaty. One of the best films I've seen in quite some time with ease.

Just saw the movie Young Adult starring Charlize Theron while on the plane home. It's hilarious in a very very dark way.

Only problem with this scene is the dude tries to pull the wool over your eyes that his bourbon will continue ageing even though it's in a glass bottle, but that's probably a lack of knowledge on the writers part.

I watched the rum diary the other day and quite enjoyed it. Wouldn't call it great though

As a moderator, maybe you should check your threads. I reviewed this again, and on this particular thread...none of these movies are mentioned. This was my first post, but I'm no stranger to the internet or this site. Kick me off if you like, but being a dick is no way to be a moderator.

How strange that someone who is "no stranger to the internet or this site" didn't know out about the internal search facility (top right of your screen), where you would have found the other movie threads where those films have been dicussed...?

Trolls get hungry, and hey, they are a dying breed, but nobody told them.

How about a nice shrimp cocktail for this new friend we should christen Peewob Herman?

(Farging love that great drinking oriented movie)

If you haven't seen 'The Leningrad Cowboys Go America' (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leningrad_ ... Go_America), I highly recommend it. It's Criterion, so it's not just me hyping it.

One for the Frog and I saw them (Leningrad Cowboys) play at the island festival in Budapest; we'd managed to score V.I.P. tickets. So, needless to say, we were very, very drunk...

That's fucking cool. I've seen a few videos on youtube of them performing live, and they seem entertaining as fuck.

Also, really any Kaurismäki makes for a great drinking movie.

They were, from the bits of memory I have of the event, very entertaining. For anyone who hasn't seen them, here is a taster: Leningrad Cowboys and The Red Army Choir - Sweet Home Alabama (live)

That he does. And "Leningrad Cowboys go America" is a great starting point for anyone unfamiliar with his oeuvre.
