Well, if we are going to delve in to ancient history, then Peter Cook and Dudley Moore in Not Only...But Also must receive a mention.

Of course, you do realise that TV Ruined Your Life*?
*This actually gets fairly important and, admittedly, less jokey, half way through. Please do watch it; spare 30 minutes of your life (or 15 if you just want the important bits or, vice versa, if you just want the knob jokes...)
And this one explains why modern life is rubbish (not that any period in the past was better but at least they didn't tell you that you were having a good time, whilst grinding your face into the mire, back then).
And why being single and drunk isn't, necessarily, a bad thing...

Me and the redhead are quite in to Game of Thrones recently. Ordered series 1 and 2 on blu-ray and are now halfway through the first season. Somewhat complicated at first, especially when imbibed, but a great show anyways.

I seem to remember her as more of a Sex in the City fan.Bur wrote: I refuse watch GoT without winebox by my side.

Re: Any other great television shows?
LONGMIRE starts tomorrow.
I started watching it about halfway through last (the first) season. It's kind of a throwback, small town sheriff show, with no crime lab set in a fictional county in Montana (or Wyoming). Gritty and low tech.
Besides, Lou Diamond Phillips is the proprietor of the Red Pony where they drink Ranier beer and sometimes Blanton's.

This blows, no Game of Thrones tonight. And only 2 more episodes left. Damn it all, where's my whiskey?

The 2009 BBC production of Hamlet, starring David "The 10th Doctor" Tennant and Patrick "Jean-Luc Picard" Stewart.

I really enjoy this one, it's like Justified without the woodsy bling and style, which is welcome as Justified pretty much cornered the market on woodsy bling and style.frankennietzsche wrote:LONGMIRE starts tomorrow.
