What about, "Penny Dreadful? Anyone else watching this awesomely over-the-top show? If not, do check it out; very grand guignol, tongue-in-cheek, black humour. Definitely worth watching.

And if you like that, check out, "Psychoville"; from the same twisted minds that brought you the sublime, "League of Gentlemen".

Enjoy in good mental health!

Haven't seen the last episode of Penny Dreadful yet, but I've certainly enjoyed the first season. I think it was confirmed for second season as well?

It has been confirmed by Sky (the broadcaster and part financer of Penny Dreadful) that their will definitely be a second series. Whether it will be picked up by broadcasters in other countries is, of course, still up to negotiation.

And, of course, this is brilliantly funny, "Duckman - Where no Duckman has gone before..."

I believe Hannibal has been mentioned before on this thread but I'm gonna recommend it while it's still hip.

Also is it a bad thing that this particular show has inspired me to actually cook more often?

This depends on entirely on what you're cooking. Are those fava beans I see in the pantry?

Thank you. Since reading this post I have watched almost 8 full seasons of "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" on the flix. The main characters are juvenile, usually drinking or drunk or extremely drunk, and possibly on drugs and/or inhalants. The degradation of the lives of most of the occasional characters throughout the seasons is brilliant. I want Sweet Dee to have a baby for me, and I think the guy that works at the drive-thru down the street from me is from the Macpoyle clan.

The actors write the show and take turns directing, full creative control, much like TPB

Kitten Mittens!

I think that the first episode that I ever saw was the dumpster baby episode. From there, I was hooked.
