In anothe rthread the Drunktective mentioned the Vacation movies which made me think of Chevy Chase I really dig his movies.
The Fletch movies were great anyone read the books they are greater.
I love his movies too. But did I hear he's like a total dick in real life? I hope not because he seems really likable.
I've heard the same, which really is a let down. He's like the anti Bill Murray.
On that note there was, don't know if it still is, a Doc on Ntflix about Bill Murray. It was a really feel good documentary about how Bill just shows up at peoples weddings, family reunions, and just random partys. I recall one story of people at a house party, I think it was in Austin, and they go in the kitchen and Bill Murray is doing the fucking dishes! That kind of thing would make someone's day to say the least, and I'm sure he knows that. He is eccentric but just really likes hanging out with regular people. He seems like a fun dude.
He sounds out of his nut to me. Washing dishes? If I found some stranger washing my dishes I would introduce the weirdo to my Pitt bull Chester .

D.O.A. (1950 with Edmond O’Brien).
This is classic film noir and a must see.

It really is funny despite it's "Rom-Comey" vibe. And great for this time of year.

Panned by critics and the audiance. Me and AD liked Liam Neeson in Marlowe.
A Lush movie in the 21st century. Sluts, drinks, smokes and murder. What`s not to like?

Is he playing Phillip Marlowe? Raymond Chandler created the character in novels and I think Boogey played him in a movie. Powers Boothe played him in a series on HBO if I remember correctly.

This is not a Raymond Chandler story. But it is about P.I. Philip Marlowe. All you have to do is pay a hefty licensing fee and you could write a sequel to Marlowe, too.
From Brave search:
Marlowe" is a 2022 neo-noir crime thriller mystery film directed by Neil Jordan, based on the 2014 novel "The Black-Eyed Blonde" by John Banville. The film stars Liam Neeson as Philip Marlowe, a fictional character created by Raymond Chandler, and features Diane Kruger, Jessica Lange, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Alan Cumming, Francois Arnaud, Ian Hart, Danny Huston, Daniela Melchior, and Colm Meaney.
