I used to live right where that scene/opening scenes were filmed, Highway 74.

Didn't the suicide rate take a jump after this aired? Love Peter Sellers in 'Dr. Strangelove'

Probably, it is unrelentingly miserable. I know exactly how I'd do it if a bomb fell. Anything rather than what follows, brrrrrr.

that movie is straight up disturbing. Some other good ones are FAIL SAFE, and even, get this - George Clooney's remake of FAIL SAFE, which was done live on TV and was absolutely incredible. Both are available on DVD, By Dawn's Early Light was a good one too.

I'll definitely check them out. If you like a cartoon that also teaches you how futile it is to duck and cover, check out 'When The Wind Blows' by Raymond Briggs.

Lots of good movies from each of you Mighty Drunkards for me to check out with my lady tomorrow*, as hair of the dog. They in the kitchen with that moonshine she smuggled back from N.C. a couple weeks ago...

When she was gone, I was all like this:

Lonely Guy, full movie. (Steve effing Martin)

Now for some shots of acetyl and methanol! um, yay

*her name is not Tomorrow, nor Hair Of The Dog

Sacha Baron (Ali G & Borat) Cohen's The Dictator (full movie).

I am going to forego my usual "enjoy" statement, on this; make your own minds up on this one.

I *finally* watched 28 Days Later this morning and I already want to see it again. I won't though, I'm going to scour Life of Brian for content that is suitable for use as a teaching aid in my classroom instead.
