It won't be.
Au contraire, I can usethis clip for two different year groups.
Depending on what subject you are teaching, I can think of several scenes. For history, the scene in which Brian is defacing the forum and the Cneturion is correcting his Latin, and the one at the colesium with the discussion of their "goals". For a theology-type class, the scene with the Sermon on the Mount, the stoning, or Brian's sermon.
Edit: Should have watched the clip...

Rel. attitudes to wealth and poverty in the UK, hence the 'consider the lily' bit. I did use the Sermon on the Mount bit a few years ago, but your suggestion is grounds for a resurrection (ha!) when I next do the life of Jesus. I'm also using the organ donor sketch from 'Meaning of Life' when I do life issues next term. Thanks for the sermon suggestion though, I can see how I can use that!

Thanks, I did mean to add that link at the end, but I forgot. Which pint do you want, the usual?

Yes, please. Vodka, cheapest (the more it tastes like it was made in a T-34 the more I like it).

This entire film can be used at any Jesuit institution without any problem. Perfect for Saturday matinees...
Found myself in the Matrix and took the red pill. Now I want the blue pill and my bottle and leave me alone.

Blade Runner. Never gets old. Except, I *HATE* the director's cut. Theatrical release FTW. Used to have to watch it on VHS until the release a few years back of the master collection on DVD, which includes every version ever released anywhere on earth, in 4 discs. I await its release on BluRay. But DVD is still pretty great, especially given that it was shot about 30 years ago, so really, it's not going to get any better...

Excellent choice, my friend. You can find part one (of 7) here (and the links to each "next part" are very easy to follow).

And you have reminded me of the evening we watched my next recommendation. Good times. Thanks again.

Zulu (full movie). Made in 1964, it was Michael Caine's first movie, and a damned fine film it is too. Once you have finished watching the movie click here to watch "The Making of Zulu" featurette, which is, of itself, quite compelling.

New Feature: drink recommendations for enjoying whilst watching the film, India Pale Ale (as issued to the troops, due to the amoebic dysentry inducing quality of the local water) and a newfangled mixed drink, much favoured by the Officer Cadre of the period, tonic water (the quinine helps prevent malaria) mixed with gin to make it more palatable and with added lime (a trick learned from the Senior Service) to prevent scurvy. However, since the film depicts a Welsh Regiment, a handle of Evan Williams would be perfectly acceptable.

Enjoy.

That's exactly how I feel about my roles in my own work!

I hope nobody catches on, and thank you for the laughs, young teacher.

Mission to Mars (full movie).

Recommended drinks to go with this film include; Port, Brutal Hammers and Guinness (basically, red drinks).
