My favorite part of the whole series:

The thing that strikes me, is what a bunch of lightweights they are! As anyone who has heard my 'history of the world* in 30 mins or less whilst 2 bottles of vodka in the bag' lecture may note (ask One for the frog, he must have heard it).

* As every good historian knows, Asia and Africa don't count. Look it up! It's, like, the rules or something, I'm not making this up. Great maker...I am drunk...

Search for "Funny or Die" and once there use their internal search for 'Drunk History'. That should work. Maybe you need to download a "Flash Player" or something..

Drunk History on Comedy Central

Post by stinie »

It's premieres right now you drunken bastards! They get a bunch of historians drunk and film them talking about history while having actors play out the scene to the drunken historian's story. It's awesome. You may have seen it on YouTube once upon a time.

All of the "Drunk History" threads have now been merged to avoid confusion.

Drunk History

Post by Bluespook »

Comedy Central has this new show out called Drunk History. It's entertaining enough, especially if you are into history, and that being said i don't see it lasting long. That network has a way of cancelling good shows before they really get a start. Anyway, it's all about these guys getting really drunk, then they tell a story from history in a colorful way that only a drunkard can. When i saw the commercials for it i was thinking, "yes, about time. We are a proud people with a rich and entertaining history. About time someone told the history of drunkards since it is a very long tale to tell." I was disapointed to see what it was really about. Not that it wasn't a good show, just not what i expected or what it could have been.
Beer's just being social. Whiskey's drinkin'.
