It was around in internets before, haven't seen how they went on with it in small screen.

Surely entertaining in my opinion.

Last night's episode featured a bit on Al Capone. My favorite so far... The guy that tells the story is great. He's one of those guys that gets smily when he's loaded. He seemed like the real deal, not just acting like he's drunk... no fake vomiting.

But I agree, the network won't give it a chance to get a strong footing. It will not last long.

Now watching the first episode, I possibly accidentally poured myself a water glass of Ouzo.

Drunk History

Okay, this is an actual show on Comedy Central. Every damned one of us should have at least a cameo on it. I'm'a call the producers right now. And my agent. My agent got me on The Sopranos, yo.

If - nay, when, you magnificent bastards are featured, what part of history would you drunkenly discuss?

Enjoy (preferably with much hooch) and please let us know which story was covered and what you thought of it.

It was the first episode of the first series so what was that? Winona Ryder in a funny hat and a story about some dude's dad being an ars(e)onist in witness protection? I didn't think the narrators were actually drunk until that last guy - he was smashed.

I think the show shows promise but I would probably enjoy it more if it wasn't just American history -I understand it changes in later episodes which I look forward to. I was also s*ber which is always a shame. My friend suggested it would be better after vodka and I tend to agree because most things are.

A Show that will certainly be to "mistah willies'" taste*

Here's a show that's similar to "Drunk History", "Vic Reeves presents Rogues' Gallery".

This episode focuses on the glorious, drunken madman and pirate Edward Teach, also known as "Blackbeard" and is full of drunken madness and mayhem (and is surprising accurate, historically).

Part, The First

Part, The Second

Enjoy, ye scurvy dogs!
