Old Pixies vids on youtube.
This is trouble. Something about the Pixies makes me yell at the walls, piss outside, and generally be the asshole I know I was meant to be.
Whatcha listening to?

Love the guy. Totally agree, except for one thing: While exhorting us to eat our fruits and veggies, he forgot to mention bourbon.
Yeah, he probably kicked himself, later.

Tonight feels like a Doors night. "Five to One," "Alabama Song," and of course "Roadhouse Blues" should require a drink in hand to be listened to.
Can I pour you a beer, Mr. Peterson?
A little early isn't it, Woody?
For a beer?
No, for stupid questions...

Some golf thing on the TV. I believe that is about to change. It fells like it's time to go outside in the 105 degree heat and grill and blast Herb Alpert on the stereo until the cops show up.
Because these days, Herb Alpert WILL make the cops show up. These days, elevator jazz is more offensive than gunshots.

I cite as evidence: both of my upstairs neighbors fled before I was through side 1 of Whipped Cream and Other Delights.

Re: Whatcha listening to?
Seriously? My mom owned that LP. When I was a little girl, I loved to listen to it. We had this stereo that was a huge, five or six foot long piece of furniture. Oh, the seventies. Even now, the sound of a tone arm dropping down on a record (scritch scratch) really sends me, back to the good old days.waahoohah wrote:I cite as evidence: both of my upstairs neighbors fled before I was through side 1 of Whipped Cream and Other Delights.

Zvuki Mu, an old Russian band. Highly recommend, the lead singer is totally amazing to watch on stage, he is also a well known actor in Russia, Pyotr Mamonov. Although, most of the beauty lies in the lyrics so you might not appreciate it, still, give it a try.
