And pretty much everything else on this thread.

When it comes to drinking music that you like, there's really no wrong answer.

with friends, good rock or rap. Alone, anything bluesy/folksy as many here have already said. And slow.

BTW, good thread, Thermon. You have found your people. Bring me a Manhattan.

Of course, when I'm tight, there's something about Split lip Rayfield that helps me along....
i fuckin love split lip rayfield, don't know many people who've ever heard em.

i listen to a wide range of music, but some acts that are always in the mix for drinkin are carl perkins, george jones, johnny paycheck, david alan coe, the dead boys, gg allin, the stooges, pantera, tom waits, jimmy martin, hank 3. and i could go on and on, but those are the standard.
into each life a little stroh's must fall - surreal

i told my landlord and all the other tenants they could fuck off if they don't like hank- hellbound glory

I already voted what I CHOOSE to play, but I thought I'd mention it since it happened again yesterday- whenever I black out, The next time I get on the computer Frank Zappa is the only thing on the playlist. I occasionally barely remember putting it on. So that's my choice of black out music, and you can too!

btw... uncle meat? haven't seen him in a while.
