Re: Whatcha listening to?
I may be one of the few people I'm aware of that didn't really get into Faith No More. I used to love Bad Brains and DK. Once in a while I can enjoy the Brains as long as I fast forward the tape during the reggae bits. DK I can't really do anymore, Jello's voice is just a little too weird for me now. Never heard of Death Ride '69 or Haunted Garage.Lush City wrote: ↑Sun Mar 17, 2019 12:21 amYeah, I used to be into this shit decades ago but I got old. My faves were 'The Butthole Surfers', 'Bad Brains', 'Faith No More', 'Dead Kennedys' and local L.A. groups like 'Death Ride '69 ' and 'Haunted Garage'. Had to find more mellow tunes. Didn't want to die right away, you know?scream ale wrote: ↑Tue Mar 12, 2019 4:58 pm"Prarie Home Invasion" is an excellent album despite Jello's strange voice.Far~Out~Pat wrote: ↑Mon Mar 11, 2019 6:17 pmMojo Nixon Are You Drinkin' With Me Jesus?

Always come back to this. QOTSA: Sat by the Ocean.
It's form 5 years ago, and it reminds me of a much longer time ago in Cali.
It's a tale all it's own.
