Yes, now we're talking booze rave. Like a local concert with kegs of beer and young girls asking you to buy a large cup for them.
Those are the precious days of the ghost of the drunkard past.

Wow! I was laying in bed and hearing that song in my head just the other day. What's going on here?

The Killers -- Mr. Brightside
IMO, a [1] dynamically cathartic overcoming of [2] ruminations on a lamentable situation, done so [3] FABULOUSLY and with [4] placebic metaphysical appeal.
Citations:
[1] Check the sound of the guitar riff during the "but it's just the price i pay" chorus.
[2] Gotta feel for the singer here.

The more I drink the more I`ve to amp up the volume. Why? After just a couple o drinks I turn drunk-deaf.

In honour of the passing, yesterday, of the great George Cole, star of the highly entertaining (and highly recommended) comedy/crime-drama, "Minder"; a wee ditty all about George Cole's role in the aforementioned TV series. To whit, "Arthur Daley ('e's alright)" by The Firm.
So grab a large V.a.T.* (on the slate, naturally) and join me in a toast to a superb actor, a drole raconteur and a man who graduates, almost seemlessly, from Music Hall (the British version of Vaudeville), through film and from there to television .
Here's to him!
Cheers!

This is one of Dear Lady S.'s favourite (Symphonic or "Tone Poems") tunes. So, on this, her birthday, kindly charge your glasses, hail a toast to our own beloved Lady Savage and crank-up the volume as you enjoy, Camille Saint-Saëns - "Danse Macabre"*.

Excellent taste in music, mon frere.
If one reads the wiki hint, (once opened, in a new tab), at the bottom of your post, while hearing this excellent poetry in symphonic form, one can follow along and recognize the elements of a fine tale.
The lone violin motif as human voice was most certainly the impetus for another classic tone, here, to wit, in this All Hallow's Eve theme that you've proposed.
KP4
Here's another (and most certainly a favorite of this fine Lady Drunkard)
The Nightmare Before X-Mas full sound track
Gobless Oingo Boingo.
On a more important note, it is sometimes good that we retrace the paths, set in stone, of those who have done excellent work before we even took a step.
Sometimes, we may find a road to perdition that has been laid by wondrous stones of exposition.
And exploration.
DRINK!, you demon fiend you.
