Drinks to knock out a cold?

Rock and Rye is the best. You can make it yourself with some rock candy and Rye. But Hiram Walker still makes the stuff.

Don't know if it helps you get over the cold faster, but it makes you feel more up for going out on the town - cheap gin (Burnett's been in rotation at my place recently) and and Red Bull or Rockstar on ice.

For cold/congestion/sinus

Use fresh thyme and ginger
brandy
lemon/lime
1 cup of water

-Boil thyme and ginger in 1 cup of water for about 5-10 minuts.
-In a coffee mug pour at a minimum 1 shot of brandy and a squize of lime or lemon. For this recipie the lime is optional.
-strain thyme/ginger tea into your cup.
-as you sip, inhale the vapors.

Thyme really works wonders and will bring you instant relief.


For cold/cough

-1 shot of tequila
-a spoon full of honey
-1/2 lime

Mix well and drink
