From what I can find out, pumpkin schnapps (or, rather a pumpkin liqueur known as Pumpkin Smash) was manufactured by Bols, and they discontinued it some time ago. A couple of posts on bartender.com recommend the use of either Torani pumpkin spice syrup or pumpkin puree in its place or, for those of you who like to do it yourself, here are a few sites offering recipes for your own pumpkin liqueur:

This one uses rum instead of vodka
The Australian company Moffatdale Ridge apparently produce (or possibly produced) a pumpkin liqueur at $15 Australian per bottle. Their email address can be found here, if anyone's interested.
One final pumpkin-related link for you (NBR, unfortunately) - The Goomeri Pumpkin Festival
