Here's a couple to fight the nippy weather
"Crackberry"
1 part blackberry brandy
2 parts brandy
2 parts lemon-lime soda
Serve over ice, garnish with mint. Brandy puts a nice warm glow in your belly, and the bit of blackberry provides a nice tie-in to the sweetness of the soda. If you like this, try a Dirty Bastard the next time you are in the mood for a Cape Cod.
"Uncle Goddam"
2 parts scotch
1 part grain alcohol/151
1 part Galliano
2 parts club soda or lemon-lime soda
Serve neat or over ice. A variation of the Italian Heather, it's good way to use up the cheap scotch that stingy friend gave you. The drink is modular, in that you can make it as dry or sweet as you like without ruining the essential character.
