Halloween drinks?

Post by Qbert »

Not much of a first post, sorry.

Was just wondering if anyone had any interesting Halloween-themed drinks? Yeah, I couldn't give a shit if I was schwilling stale Old E with cigarette butts for icecubes, but my buddy is throwing some sort of rager and wants to make an impression with his booze contribution.

So anyone got anything?

First thing that comes to mind is a Bloody Mary. But that's not really special and exclusive and all that. They taste good, though.

Yeah, I feel you there.

Evidently there's pumpkin liqueur, which is probably the grossest thing I've ever heard of.

Welcome aboard, Obert.

Try a Vampire's Kiss

2 measures vodka
1/2 measure gin
1/2 measure dry vermouth
splash of tequila
2 measures tomato juice

This is, of course, just a spin on a bloody mary, but it brings a little something different to the party. You could also stick to soemthing simple like hard dcider or mulled wine.

Has anyone here experimented with dry ice and party punch? It seems like a good idea, but I seem to remember someone warning me of dangers in it. I know very little about dry ice, except that it's very fucking cold.

Welcome aboard, new guy!

I'd suggest filling a hollowed-out pumpkin with Whiskey and calling it a "spoooooky shooter" or something like that.

I like Whiskey.

DG's represent.

Good, Lord. That's the greatest idea I've heard all night. I raise my next drink to it!

I just ended up drinking a fifth of C+C by myself in some weird lounge on top of the Hilton in Minneapolis.

But the suggestions were fantastic.

And yeah, DG to the fullest.
