Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to happy fun-time drinking wacky creative cocktail happy science hour. please welcome our delicious contestants!
elijah criags 12 year (94 proof)
[applause]
gosling's black seal bermuda rum (80 proof)
[applause]
yes, yes, good rum, folks, let us save our applause until all participants have been brought out. thanks!
cheap vodka, bailey's carmel flavored irish cream (34 proof), dulseda's dulce de leche (30 proof), grape juice (0 proof), milk (0 again), amarreto (56 proof), creme de cassis (40), grape juice, mllk, and apple juice.
i was going to give them singular scores, but that is simply unfair. i prefer to rate all drinks add deliciosity and potency. all drinks are served in (roughly, sans lime) equal parts. the scores are as follows:
dolce de leche + milk
taste: 10
potency: 2
dolce de leche + milk + vodka
taste: 3.5
potency: 4
dolce de leche + milk+ rum
taste: 9
potency: 4
dolce de leche + milk + bourbon
it curdled immediately.
taste: 0
potency: 4.5
grape juice + vodka + creme de cassis (rocks)
taste: 6
potency: 6.5. not my cup of tea, but palatable.
amaretto + creme de cassis + rum + lime (rocks)
taste: surprisingly delicious. 7.
potency: 7.5
creme de cassis + apple juice + bourbon + lime (+ rocks).... twice
taste: 7
potency: 7
bailey's + amaretto + milk + rum (rocks)q
taste: good, i guess. i don't know. 8.
potency: 5
rum + creme de cassis + grape juice
taste: surprisingly tasty: 8
potency: 6.5
dolce de leche + rum + bourbon (rocks)
taste: 8.5
potency: 8.5
...there could be more, and many of my observations may be inaccurate, but science makes me drunk. updates maybe.

We see Drunkards how our scientists are hard at work in the labs, formulating the co-efficient of tasty vs. potent = Maximum Enjoyment Constant. These drink recipes are the heart, if not the redeeming liver, of our boards.
I'm inspired (not this eve) to try a true Flip of Ale, Rum, Whole Cream and Egg, mixed with a scalding loggerhead. Bubble, bubble, toil and trouble. Make me fubba dubba on the double.

happy fun-time drinking social wacky cocktail science hour was a success! two of our participants have been completely drained, one is well on its way into obliteration, the scienticians involved in the program got completely trashed, and at one point i threw up in the sink. this in no way interfered with happy fun time hour science project. experimentation continued.
question: why did i include milk on the list twice? and toward the end, you all should probably ignore some of those scores. at least two of them have fairly inaccurate potency scores. then again, i was fairly drunk.
a lot of these are really good drinks. give 'em a go.

happy funtime wacky creative cocktail science hour continues? i have a blender now. not just any blender, a hulk hogan thunder mixer™ my lovelies. most of the participants are the same, but we have some new folks aboard. ladies and gentlemen...
plymouth gin (82.4 proof)
burnett's vodka (80 proof)
gosling's black seal rum (80 proof)
creme de cassis (40 proof)
dulseda's dulce de leche (30 proof)
then the mixers: milk, grape juice, tamarindo, ice.
the blender is waiting at the post office. i'll make an effort to actually go up there and get it before i drink all of our guests away. all suggestions are welcome and will be tried, no matter how absurd or foul tasting.

Re: happy funtime wacky delciious creative cocktail science
I'm going to go with a formula from your first lab, given the available ingredients. Up the rum ratio and try shaking the ingredients over ice with extreme violence. Let's say:MeanOldLady wrote:...
dolce de leche + milk+ rum
taste: 9
potency: 4...
60% Gosling's Black Seal
30% Dolce le Leche Liquera
10% Milk
I might even go all super wacky with a bit of fresh cinnamon on the top. You know though by the end of the night you'll be NeatOldLady.

Hey NeatOldLady,
How about this?
Pour Tamarindo juice into ice tray - put in freezer.
Put a quantity of vodka, Rum and Amaretto into freezer also.
Pour some Amaretto, Rum and Vodka into the badass blender.
What ever proportion you prefer.
Spin up the blender and start droping in Tamarindo cubes.
Stop when you get the consistency you want. By freezing the Tama and the booze, you can make a really stiff slushy - almost sorbet like. Mmmmm, brain freeze.
If you want something slooshier, don't freeze the booze.
Or don't freeze juice or booze and add ice cubes for a more dilute drink.
I used to make this drink all the time but used Goya brand guava juice instead of tamarindo. If you want to get all healthy, use fresh fruit.
bye
