This sounds quite toothsome as an aperitif, or triple the rations for a fine relaxing on the porch bevvie. The recipe eschews ice, but feel free to cool this one out. Ginger wine is available from BevMo for $10 a bottle, but it appears that our UK brethern will be able to tell us which of the several brands of ginger wine is best for dumping into Cluny or Cutty Sark.
If this turns out to be something you can see yourself regularly drinking, I highly recommend getting a nice quaich to share with friends.
