All that being said, I love bourbon. I love bacon. I like maple syrup. I'd try it, but for some reason I don't think I'd enjoy it.

As I recall, the Drake Hotel (Toronto) is a pretty fancy-smancy place. I believe Gene Di Novi used to play piano there sometimes, back in the '80s.

How about just drinking bourbon on the rocks with your breakfast of bacon, French toast, maple syrup, poached eggs, creamed spinach, and fresh melons at... let's say at 9am ;)

Saw someone get a Manhattan with Bacon the other day.
Personally if I were to try this I would go all out and try a Bourbon flip with Bacon garnish.
