Basic hangover remedy drink

A few months ago I realized that for some people a nice greasy breakfast meal is the perfect hangover cure, for others its a few more drinks, and for still others its crackers and alka seltzer. I never really had a hangover remedy/cure. Just woke up sometimes felt like crap, ate some small food items like bread, had some water and gatorade and just let it ride its course.

But then I tried a somewhat (apparently) common remedy drink that I now try to make the morning after a hard night of drinking (esp nights when different types of drinks and booze were mixed often).

Just put the following into a blender and blend it up good:

Bananas (1 to 3 works well)
Honey (1 or 2 tablespoons)
Milk (as little or much as you want depending on how thick you want the shake)
Ice ( half a tray or so but reduce the amount of milk if you add more ice)


A lot of nutrients that your body needs after a dehydrating night of heavy drinking. So simple but so damn tasty and gives much needed energy and a settled stomach.

Man now I want a White Russian.

Actually I can see a WR as being a good hangover remedy drink, its smooth and creamy to settle the stomach and has things like protein, calcium, and potassium from the milk based parts. Well done!
