hairy bell-end
a noxious cocktail made by me and a friend when we were 15. I had been on holiday in france and got hold of a bottle of napoleon brandy for 6 euro. He found it unpalatable, so I purloined some gone off guinness (remember the "surger unit" cans) from the garage. filled a pint glass 1/4 with brandy, 1/4 with bass beer (which is sweeter and fizzier and better in Ireland), 1/4 guinnes, topped up with coke and tobasco sauce. Called a hairy bell-end because you don't want it in your mouth and if it does get there it makes you gag

yes, that does look silly, they brought it in for cheques and postal orders about 2001, coins and notes 2002, completely euro by about 2004 I think. Earlier than I remembered it starting
