But damn it tasted good. I picked up a bottle of rye at the land border crossing between Jordan and Syria about 11 years ago. I would usually drink it straight up but there were all these stalls in Damascus selling fresh juice so I took to mixing it with a 50 / 50 mix of pomegranate and blood orange juice and it was to die for.
