This came about as an improv when the Big Lewboski came on. I needed the Holy Sacrament being a dudeist priest and all. Only problem no vodka in the house.
I search around and my beady little eyes spot the White Dog on the top of the fridge. shine is clear, vodka is too. Valid replacement. Yes.
Make as you would any White Russian. Replace vodka with any type of shine you have available. I used Buffalo Trace White Dog.

Cool I heard of guy lived near me used that.He White whiskey instead of vodka.

I only just noticed the one scene where the Dude in making his white russian. He uses powdered creamer in it. That is a stroke of fuckin' genius. It leaves way more room for booze. I've got to try that.
