Heaven Hill Bourbon
It's like a cheaper, less delicious version of Evan Williams. Drank a handle of it Saturday, felt completely exhausted on Sunday and still a bit sluggish on Monday, but none of that head smashed in hangover feeling. Just a frightening suspicion that I had extinguished my inner flame, life force, or something minor like that. I'll have to compare it to the identically priced Old Crow.

don't Heaven Hill produce Evan Williams as a brand?
I got Clarke's Bourbon, an export only brand mostly sold in Germany, but I believe it is produced by Heaven Hill, though I couldn't be too sure. It's lovely and sweet, exactly what I want a bourbon to be. It's like a lighter Maker's Mark and 1/3 of the price

Cheap and potent. I always buy a shot of this and chase it with a Bud Light if I'm hard up. A terrible tasting combination but it gets the job done cheaply, y'know?
