The Outdoor Drinking Season

Post by Palinka (RIP) »

'Tis the season for sitting on one's porch with a nice warming beverage (such as The Bullshot), a pipe (and tobacco for it), maybe a radio or a small TV, and a BB Gun to keep those damned kids off your lawn.

Amongst other outdoor activities, like waiting for the smokehouse to preserve all the fish, deer or moose that you've caught.

So, who else enjoys the Outdoor Drinking Season and what is your activity and tipple of choice?

As a 4 season outdoor drinker, I heartily concur.

As to smoking meats, up at the cabin there's a spot next to a hill that would be ideal for a cold-smoke house and have often thought of slapping one together, everything I do now on the Webber seems to work fine so it's always a struggle just to decide to do this, do that, or just drink. Seems I always settle on the latter. Not that you can't drink while doing something productive.

Ya know, up heah in Maine,

Outdoor Dink-ing has a different connotation my friend. But I haven't been arrested yet...

But yes, all juvenility aside, there is nothing like quartering up an animal after a day tracking one down, calling him or her out,

and being careful with the knife

as you sip your hot toddy. Hot, spiced-rum drinks warm even the coldest cockle.

I knew that my deliberate spelling mistake would draw out one of SqualorMan's Acolytes'*. So, jump to it lads (no joke indented Special Agent of A.S.S., Bubba "Hopalong" Landfill; we are all aware of the stress and worry that you have been under since SqualorMan ate through one of your butt-cheeks; causing the leg to fall off - Naturally, you have been offered all the facilities under the command of A.S.S.- S.C.A.R. (the Anti Squalor Squad - Surgical, Clinical, Aid and Rehabilitation), I can speak for us all when I say, "The Worst is behind you, son."), we have a genuine lead, hear; and a damned good chance of catching the greased-up, stinking, nauseating Son-of-a-Bitch.
So, I want all A.S.S. Agents to be loaded for Bear - to that end there will be an inflight training session by Lt. Com. ChestHair "Leather Cap, chaps and open vest" Hairy Chesterton. You boys pay special attention to him, the things he knows, may just end up saving your life!

Signed Lt (jg) Alouishus Seymour Butts (temporary secretary)
On behalf of,
P.L. Morningstar (Acting Director A.S.S.)

As always I expect the reports from each Head of Department to be left behind the loose brink, just under the cistern, cubicle three, The White House "Open t to the Public Area, Green Zone, Level 2; by Tuesday morning (just after I've had my coffee and ex-lax).

*We would never catch SqualorMan, himself, by using a system where so much "German-type" scat porn and Japanese tentacle-beast-threatening-school-girl-porn is both easily and freely available; for more details, Lt. Com. ChestHair "Leather Cap, chaps and open vest" Hairy Chesterton, will be open to all comers, dring the flight..

That is all (for now).
