I'm still surprised hockey is a real sport for anyone that isn't from Canada.

It's actually one of the only team sports that I enjoy watching live.

I watched Ice hockey in Belfast but I just couldn't follow it at all and felt very out of place

I'd buy it.
That sounds like an excellent Pay-per-View event. Live of course.
To give the combatants a bit more incentive, offer the winners unlimited free beer while the losers have to empty the winners' piss buckets and clean up their vomit.

How can a drunkard not like a sport where beer during play is common (at least at lower levels) and at any point fisticuffs and/or blood can happen? Thank God hockey is back! I can't stand watching the NBA.

The 'yotes aren't a bad team, it just dosen't seem right to root for a team from a place that has never seen naturally occurring ice. Same goes for both teams in Florida, Panthers and the Lightning. It just seems...wrong.

But at least the franchise was born in the ice. It is freaky that the Winnepeg Jets now exists again though.
