I got the seeding mixed up a little. The winner of Jets/Colts will play the Steelers and the winner of Ravens/Chiefs will play the Patriots. My predictions all stay the same though.

Way to go, Yorks. You put Baalke as the GM, and lose the #1 prospect you had for a head coach. Harbaugh is going to end up in Miami probably, and we are going to be left with jack shit yet again.

I want a change for the better, damn it. Please say that I am wrong here. Please, please say that I am wrong.

Edited to say I don't really want Harbaugh, because I want a veteran NFL coach. Just because he turned Stanford around, doesn't mean he'll be able to turn around a- well, let's face it- an awful NFL team with needed improvement in basically every aspect. There isn't much to choose from though. Nobody really seems interested in being our head coach either. I want them to actually give us 49er faithful something good, and some sort of progress for a better team. After 8 losing seasons, I am ready for this change we're promised every year. Put your damn money where your mouth is.

Yeah exactly. I don't get why every 49ers fan I know is so in love with Harbaugh all of a sudden. He's a trendy ex-NFL star with zero years experience as a coordinator or head coach in the pros. Sure sounds familiar to me. The sum of his qualifications are a total of two winning seasons in Division I football. Sure he brought big improvements to Stanford the last couple years, but he also had the benefit of two Heisman runner-ups to lead his offense each year. Stanford was amazingly good, but it's hard to have a bad season with Andrew Luck as your quarterback. One year just isn't a large enough sample size to have me convinced.

I'm kind of glad Luck is staying in college so we can see that Stanford most likely have another great year next season regardless of who the coach is.

I'm not convinced Harbaugh will be a great NFL coach.

I am convinced he would be a great coach for Michigan.

He is going to Miami most likely. Why stay at the college level if you can get paid 7-8 million a year with the NFL? I feel bad for Sporano. They are keeping him at his position just in case Harbaugh says no. That's fucked.

Ya, just means he can communicate well with the eggheads at Stanford. Probably won't translate to the knuckleheads in the NFL. Nice move because he doesn't have to move his family. He will regret leaving Stanford.
