Bernard Cornwell - The death of kings! Vikings, fighting and drinking. And visiting whorehouses. Yup, my kind of book. Very well written battle scenes.

The Way of Men - Jack Donovan

All my 30 years I've bought into the feminist rubbish that is so prevalent in society and one of the worst consequences is 30 years spent thinking the things that define masculinity such as strength and courage, honour, standing up for yourself were somehow barbaric and not intelligent. On reflection despite being 20 odd stone I've tended to 'turn the other cheek' favour wit over Braun and generally I regret to admit been anything but a 'man' in most circumstances.

I also elevated the female species onto a pedestal without recognising the reality that many females are farrr from princesses.

Don't get me wrong I love girls, and am def not a misogynist. I've just had a very messed up view of what girls are and what men are, and how to behave as a real man.

I'd never read any of this kinda stuff before and considered myself fairly mainstream. So its been a bit of an awakening...

Now to set about undoing 30 years of conditioning and habit.

Oh yes and did I mention I got no alcohol in me, and won't have unfortunately till Thursday.

There was a men's movement in the '90's that addressed this very issue. Recommend Robert Bly, Iron John.
Masculinity and self determination have been under attack for decades. The goal is a docile populace that can be controlled and manipulated.

It's time to make our intentions known. Enough of this sissy male conditioning. They want to neuter men and make them into obedient eunuchs. Women want to rule us.

It may be time to start adding a touch more water to your drink, methinks...

Reading Das Kapital by Karl Marx. Learning to be a good communist/progressive to steal your wealth and give me power over you. I will use alcoholic beverages as the carrot on the stick. How great is that? Haaaahaaaa!

Think it's time stroll through a Bello Gallico by Gaius Julius Ceasar. Soon bus to work and I'll get to drinking and reading within 7 hours. Most comforting thought.

Checking out The Art of War again, by Sun Tzu. Very insightful take on what it means to be a warrior, a protector, and a man. You know, it's free on most electronic book apps...

What an interesting mind, indeed.

Personally I prefer Carl von Clausewitz's 'On war'. Think it gets a wee deeper. Little bit of a tedious read at times though.
