Butter, a lemons squeeze and powdered sugar all stirred together on a Dutch Baby is bliss.
is this just a none savory Yorkshire pudding??? we eat that hand over fist in the UK but never sweet always savory...with gravy, roasted meats, stuffing etc.

Bet it would be great sweet though as well!
Do you make your own Yorki puds, and if so, got a recipe? I am really feeling like I need Yorkshire pudding in my life. I've only had it ONCE at a restaurant.

Yorkshire pudding - Scream Ale, how is your recipe?

Fried green tomatoes

I usually make little Yorkshire muffins, unless I'm making toad in the hole. Next time I make some I'll post the recipe in the drinking and cooking thread.

SA, what was your recipe?

Took me longer to find this recipe than it should have. Haven't made this in a while for some sad reason.

2 tablespoons butter
1 cup all purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
Dash of black pepper
1 cup milk
2 eggs

Preheat oven to 425°. Melt butter and pour into 9" square baking dish or muffin tin and brush the sides. Put baking dish or muffin tin in the oven to heat up. Combine flour, salt and pepper in bowl. Make a well in the center and add the eggs and milk. Beat with a rotary beater on low speed until the batter is smooth. Pour into hot dish and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown. My girlfriend's mother would sometimes use drippings from a roast in place of the butter.

Got a pizza from Domino's for old time's sake. I haven't ordered from them or Pizza Hut or Whatever in a very long time.

Not as good as I remember it being, but it will ground the night's boozing well.
Don't worry. We're in no hurry.

We ordered Domino's as well last week and I also thought it wasn't as good as previous times. But it's still pizza and I ate all of it. And no it didn't have tuna fish on it.

Stopped at a little cafe called Schotzi’s for breakfast today. It’s a nice, quiet place in a town of less than 400 people where they don’t mind you dumping half a flask of dark rum into your coffee.

The menu item is called The Matterhorn and as the name eludes it comes piled high. From top to bottom:

* 2 eggs cooked to order
* Gruyère cheese
* Bacon
* Sausage gravy
* Crispy hash browns
* 4 slices of Texas toast

Said and done it’s at least 2000 calories worth of savory goodness clocking in at a mere $13.00. And for another $3.00 they will garnish breakfast mountain with shaved prime rib. Of course, I walked out in a coma and enjoyed every bit of it. No room for pie or a chocolate malt. Maybe next time.

Bacon cheeseburger with jalapeños and ranch sauce. And beer battered onion rings. Washed down with Stella on tap.

Sorry, Lush. This blows fish tacos straight out of the water.
