I saw a guy eat string in a video. It was Robert Crumb's brother. I just couldn't get past how gross it would be, coming out the next day or so. Eeewww...

Indeed. And the spellcheckers betray.

Autocorrect is even worse. It's out to get you.

And yet, no matter how you punctuate it, the sentence "I made Grumpy a ham sandwich", sounds weird.
I made Grumpy a ham sandwich.
I made Grumpy, a ham sandwich.
Either way, he's porky. Something's not kosher here. Especially when I add his favorite swiss cheese.

Your problem is not with punctuation but with grammar. The sentence should read, "I made a ham sandwich for Grumpy." or "For Grumpy, I made a ham sandwich. "

No, silly. Grumpy, aka a ham sandwich. With mustard, too.

And you know, considering his temperament, I'm not certain whether he would be on wry (rye), or SOURdough.

I made a ham, sandwich for Grumpy.
Atleast share it, poor Grumpy`s stuck on dry bologna

"For Grumpy, I made a ham sandwich. " This is perfect, no complaining.

Hmm, baguette sandwich with boiled eggs maybe now? Nah it`s just the beer talking to me

I am thinking about an English muffin, toasted, with butter and melted chocolate chips. Sick, yes, I know.

Could be worse. It could be daylight, and I'm eyeballing that can of Le Sueur peas and contemplating mixing up some mayo and onion and Colby cheese. The nasty little dietary secrets... With a Mexican coke, and the shades drawn...

Oh dear god, no. When I met Grumpy, he was fapped to managing a military club (yeah, I know fap means something else....whatever) Anyway, he always kept a honking gallon jar of those nasty things on his bar. He said some guys ate them, but more white girls, and even more black girls gobbled them down. Go figure. I've never eaten one, and I do not care to do so as long as I live. Hey, I was bad enough when I used to douse canned green beans in salsa and eat them with tortilla chips for lunch.

My father once had goat brain soup when we were in morocco. Still a lot better looking than those nasty feet. Maybe cook the meat off and make me a common sausage out of it (they do it anyways, cock and balls also inculded for sure).
Pig head aspic is high on my menue right now, with pickled cucumber

I used to drive to Alma every winter to get Haggis for the Robert Burns dinner from a butcher
who used to do it secretly 'cause the government that loves us, cares for us, and knows what's best for us have made the chieftian of the puddin' race illegal to make in 'merica.

I remember stopping by his place during the summer to say hi and he gave me some sausage for the grill with smoking instructions, so I went home and went at it.

Best sausage ever, so I called and asked what was in it.

"You can handle Haggis, but I don't think you could handle knowing what was in that casing."

I still wonder.

Bacon & Cheddar brats on the grill tonight.
