And yet they manage to never cook fresh.

The only thing open the whole night around here is Burger King. I avoid that place like the plague which means once or twice the year.
Other than that it`s a bag back of chips with cheap ass beer from the gas station
Five gallons of beer? Interesting. And what was served for main course?

In Beerfest style I ate all the ham I was going to put in my sandwiches. Everybody loves apples for lunch though, eh?

^ ^ ^ If we are going the saltine cracker route...I used to like it with butter and jelly or even just peanut butter.

As far as simple munchies...chips n' salsa. Or nachos. Hopefully with guacamole.

I'm partial to slices of mini pumpernickel with extra sharp cheddar and cocktail weiners.

^^^^^ 100 percent, many a drunken binges I've found myself at the TGIFridays in my city, just horking these things down along with their Long Island Ice Teas, which are potent and cheap.

Nowadays, it's diner food from down the street, or delivery steak and cheeses.

If I get really drunk and don't want to leave, but have no leftovers, I get pretty inventive.

I do a mean pizza toast.

You turn on your oven to toasting temperature
Take four pieces of bread
Toast them in the oven until golden on both sides (I usually take some butter mixed with garlic powder to smear on the bottom)
You might have to flip them to make sure the buttered side is toasted well
Slather with spaghetti sauce (whatever you have handy)
Add whatever toppings you have (seriously, mushrooms, onions, ground meat, sliced chicken, doesn't matter...)
cover with whatever cheese you have ( I prefer shredded or sliced provolone)
bake again in the oven until the cheese is melted and toppings are hot

There you have it! Pizza Toast

In pinch, I can throw it together for the kids and they love it. When I'm drunk it's a goddamn godsend

I don't really like eating much, anymore. I still cook, and eat what I make, sort of, but I think I am reverting to my childhood, when I was the little skinny kid that sat in front of a cold plate of dinner with an angry mother yelling, "You will not get up from this table until you eat that!' It wasn't till I was a married woman that I discovered how nice it was to cook, and eat. Then, many years later, I got sick.

Nuts in the shell. They go with pretty much any drink and you get to play with a nutcracker.

Oh man I cooked a bunch of shit while getting drunk overnight last night. The green bean fries were fucking delicious with ketchup. The soft pretzels were good but they gave me one big salt packet and I managed to get that fucking EVERYWHERE. The Jamaican style meat patty empanada was great with hot sauce but even while drunk I remember questioning the source and content of the so called "beef" substance.
Then I passed out. Woke up and the oven was still on, amazingly without a smoldering pizza briquette inside, so I had some taquitos for breakfast.

I will definitely be getting more of the green bean fries from the dollar store.

This is hilarious and totally me in all regards- especially the salt mess. ('cept I would have had Hidden Valley Ranch with my g.b. fries). Empanadas! Those are hard to disappoint.
