they're new. Weren't very good either. Stick with the regular ones, though they have a new five bean variety which is good

I think I shall have a rump steak for my dinner tonight, medium-rare. Rumps can be a bit chewy if they are rare, especially the crap quality ones I buy. I'll see if the supermarket has any nice pilsener to go with it too

Soak the steak in the beer to tenderise it. The beer can be drunk afterward (and if you can't take a little blood in your beer, why are you still living in Glasgow?).

might do that for tomorrow, the steak was too big so I cut it in half

going to have kippers on toast with poached duck eggs. Forgot I had the kippers this morning, and them and the eggs need to be used
