Hell yes. I would similarly have a turkey, stuffing (especially the sage style), gravy, and cranberry spread or something of sorts on a leftover roll. But changing it up with your last three ingredients sounds amazeballs, I would definitely try it.Badfellow wrote: ↑Fri Nov 25, 2022 4:00 pmLong ago, my grandfather taught me a trick: leftover sage stuffing makes a kick ass addition to a turkey or roast chicken sandwich. I drizzle a little oil and spicy Italian dressing over it. Add some sharp cheddar and a bit of pickled onion. Then it’s sammich time.
There’s also always a load of those leftover dinner rolls. Slider central.

Re: Sandwiches!
I drove 40 minutes to pick up some bread fresh from the bakery: sesame semolina and a beautiful, golden baguette.
Ended up using the baguette which got good treatment with fatty winter butter from a local creamery. Next comes some double smoked alder wood ham from the Amor smokehouse. Of course, ham wants to be with cheese so I busted out some Morbier from the fridge. This I finished with a couple spears of pickled pepper, thus leaving the sandwich as a simple and uncluttered expression of the ingredients contained there in. Magnifique.

Re: Sandwiches!
so many people love weird shit...take a fucking great meat and cheese sandwich and throw a slice of fucking birthday cake in the middle or some shit.
I feel like it's the same people who say they're gin drinkers but what they really like is blue raspberry gummie bear gin with chocolate orange tonic.
JUST HAVE NORMAL SHIT FOR ONCE....EAT A SMOKED HAM AND CHEDDAR AND DRINK AND GIN AND TONIC THAT TASTES LIKE FUCKING GIN AND TONIC.
