It's just my opinion, but, in general, Vodka is just Gin with "training wheels"

Last night I poured a shot finlandia into my glass of red wine, it was very, very acceptable.

I like stoli, but I'm not a huge vodka drinker beyond the occasional bloody mary or winter time nip, nothing says winter like drinking vodka from the bottle when it is -40.
what about Crown Royal and Ginger Ale?
Crown Royal is horribly overpriced, and for a "premium" whisky it is very lacking in flavour. Alberta Premium and ginger ale is good if you can get your hands on it.

I love Vodka. I get angry when people say it is a girl's drink or a cheap liquor. Luskosawa is one of the best vodkas I have ever had. Skyy is actually quite good. If you can find the Jimi Hendrix brand vodka, it is actually really good. That being said, it angers me that his estate is so willing to cheaply whore out his name (I was already quite drunk when I bought the vodka and I like Jimi Hendrix a lot so.............. give me a break).

Absoult is a waste of a money. It is no better than smirnoff, which is ok at best.

In my humble opinion, the best vodka for the money is Sobieski. Quality and not prohibitively expensive. It's what I keep in my freezer... in a Gordon's bottle, because square don't roll.

Yes im from the land down under and the right a bit if you ask me...

edit: smirnoff is the best vodka i have tried. I have tried smirnoff blue, and red and i think black if thats real i dunno i was way out of it on what ever it was... I have also had about 8 or 9 other cheap cheap brands. I go with what ever is on special when its vodka but smirnoff is the best i think.

I can't drink Smirnoff...gives me a blazing headache. I drink Monopolowa, Luksusowa, Stoli, and Ketel 1 from time to time, depending on mood. Titos from time to time, too, when I feel like showing some Texas pride.

Gordon's is cheaper than Smirnoff and just as good (or bad, depending on how you look at it). The difference between Smirnoff Blue and Red is that the Blue is 100 proof and the Red is 80.

Stoli is my standby, it's middle of the road. Ketel One or Grey Goose if I want a premium. I have not had this Luskosawa that I keep hearing of, I might have to look for it. I can't find it on Bevmo though.

Oh, and agreeing with an earlier post, Absolut sucks.

That Mayhem guy knows what the fuck he's talking about. If you're going to drink Vodka, make sure it's distilled from potatoes. Now that that is taken care of, someone get me a damn White Russian.
The man who intoxicates himself on bad whisky is sometimes moved to kill his wife and set his house on fire, but the victim of applejack is capable of blowing up a whole town with dynamite and of reciting original poetry to every surviving inhabitant.

I like Tito's Handmade Vodka. It's pot distilled and made in Texas from grain, not potatoes. Texas sucks but the vodka is pretty good.
