Thanks.

Yesterday was a heavy drinking day. Many, many drinks. Very, very drunk. Today was a lay low kind of day. But I am preparing to head down to the bar for a few nightcaps.

I`m really looking forward to the Vegas trip and find out what you consider many many drinks.

I hope we can also get nachos there. The stuff they serve you in germany is more akin to the disgusting crap Beavis and Butthead eat all day

Last week, I made last minute plans to join a few friends on a trip to Tahoe to gamble and bet on football.

We made the five hour drive on Friday evening to arrive at 8:00 pm.

We imnediately started drinking and all of us made money. Three Card Poker, Blackjack, Slots, Video Poker. Fuck. We were all drunk and we all made money. We couldn't lose. They were giving away money. What a great night.

Yesterday, we were all hungover and didn't drink very much and also didnt win shit. They took back everything we made the night before plus more. Fucking greedy bastards.

This is a learning experience. Drunkards are winners. Big winners. Drys are losers. Big losers. Never straddle the fence.

Yesterday morning, my buddy Allen and I drove to Sacramento for a golf tournament. But this wasn't a run of the mill tournament. It's an annual shindig that's organized by a huge architectural firm to gather all of their vendors and partnering organizations and agencies. Basically, it's the firm's way of saying thank you to everyone for helping make them become ultra wealthy. They do this by giving away a shit ton of prizes, food, and more booze than I've ever seen at any golf tournament. Ever.

So we spent the day drinking and eating and playing really bad golf. After the event was over, Allen and I headed to downtown Sacramento to check out the dozens of bars located within the immediate five-block area surrounding the capitol building. We hit the Blueprint Bar to drink with a bunch of old men, the Pre Flight Lounge to drink with a bunch of hipsters, the Dive Bar to check out the giant fish tank with real women swimming around like mermaids, an irish bar (I can't remember the name), Ella's to drink expensive craft cocktails with rich people, and the HOTeL Bar. It was at this final bar where we hit our stride, found the line, and stepped over. They ran iut of Captain Morgan, so we started drinking Rye and continued until closing time.

I vaguely remember calling Uber to drive us the three blocks to our hotel. We were in no condition to walk.

I also have a vague recollection of a fun little Skype call with a couple of Germans and a Hawaiian. I have no idea what time it was and can't remember going to bed.

All in all, it was a successful little trip.

They can't keep the Captain Morgan in stock out here either.

BTW, did you see that Uber is considering offering drivers the ability to turn down drunks?

I laugh at the thought of all the drunks trying to pretend to be undrunk to get a lift. Chaos reigns.
Don't worry. We're in no hurry.
