Horse was one of the only bars that didn't get flooded from Hurricane Isabel. The water came as far as 8 feet from the front door! Lots of others were trashed. Seems like a senseless waste of good hooch!!!

Here's a great one, Mt. Royal Tavern. Just south of the Art Institute on Mt. Royal, of all places. If they had a picture in the dictionary next to the entry for "bar", this is what they'd use. Drove by the other day and it's still open, thank God.

I have something to say about CVP because they really started my weekend off right
Also this has been the great night of free and wonderful. went out to eat got a meal for free 'cause i knew the waiter, went to CVP for the first time in a while, 1st thing I ordered a Guiness and got hassle bout not having ID but luckily Leslie the greatest bar waitress in the world had my back, and at the end of the night when i went to pay lets just say my wallet stayed in my purse and my weekend is off to a great start. God I love Fridays

It seems that they may need a tester to make sure that the booze hasn't gone off. Any volunteers? Hey! No stampedes...!

Is Swallow at the Hollow still open? Up on York at Northern? Serious boozing afoot there in the old days.

Ha. I'm sure they're different, but we have one here in Roswell. Awesome BBQ!

Nice bump. I might actually be returning to Maryland this summer. OPACY will be the first stop, but I'll need local tour guides.

I got wasted at Pickles (next to Camden Yards) before a Van Halen concert - what a waste of 4th row seats. But their Stolis tastes like all of the other Stolis.
