Don't know why but the mix of older drinkers (less studenty than other places nearby) and the brilliant blues/60's rock jukebox crossed with decent priced drinks and good yorkshire beer made this place brilliant for me.
Some random guy also bought me and my mate a drink for playing howlin' wolf and we drank pints of strong english bitter with double scotch chasers. Got really drunk but they never kicked us out (rare now in the uk).
Brilliant place, must go back someday.

Still not been back for years, my mate moved from leeds to brum and now we need an excuse to go back.
