My band, In the Company of Serpents, is playing a show tonight at Bar Bar (aka Carioca Cafe) in Denver. Legend has it Kerouac and Neal Cassady used to get soused there back in their day. Come check it out.
We play a variety of metal known as Doom. If you haven't heard of it, think along the lines of the first 5 or so Black Sabbath records- Heavy Metal played sludgy, low and slow (relatively, at least). We go on at 11, which is coincidently the volume of the amps.
