Past MDM meetups - across the UK and Europe - have included Belfast, Berlin and Manchester. I've had the pleasure of being at all of these, of having met some terrific drunkards and of having gotten very, very drunk. All three of these places have been subject to terror or violence at various times in recent decades - it's not really something you can account for. Not to downplay the atrocity in any way, but this particular incident looks like an isolated case of someone being a horrible fuckwit. Manchester didn't bow to these cunts and neither will Vegas.

It's easy. Just avoid mass outdoor gatherings and pack your hardware but leave it in your car. They won't be searching vehicles. You at least have a chance to run outside and get the protection you need. This is the wild wild West!

Also, if you're suggesting the Luxor; while that place is shexxy-lookin' on the outside (and yes, it does indeed resemble a tinfoil hat), the view from the inside looking out is terrible. All the windows have forehead grease/blood/Dippity-Do stains on the inside from people bonking their noggins to look at the strip down below.

At the request of a few incredibly drunk assholes, I have been tasked to secure a home base for Las Vagas. The Plaza is a logical choice. Located downtown, overlooking the Freemont Street Experience, and just steps away from dozens of old school casinos and bars, it's a fun and exciting location.

Please don't let the marketing material fool you. This is a no-nonsense hotel/casino; it is not one of those fancy resorts located a couple miles away on the strip. However, this will serve us well as home base and, unlike the strip resorts, we are able to walk to the surrounding bars, casinos, restaurants, and other attracions.

I have contacted the property and am in the process of securing a booking code which we can use for a "group offer".
