I’ve had the pleasure of drinking w/some of the finest folks on the planet b/c of this forum - Screwball, Gin McG, The Geese, Tony Mayhem, Thirsty Drunk, El Boozificator, NY Dingbat, Bluespook, Resident Asshole, Ivan, Smatter Noguts, and others. I can now add Mr and Mrs Patchez to the list. They made the trek all the way to DC to see some middle-aged drunks tie one on and tear one up.

I sure enjoyed meeting Patchez and knocking back a few double Jamesons with him before the show. It was quite an evening. And Screwball was missed. That S.O.B. was aces last time we played SXSW in Austin. Some say he is some kinda fire suppression systems wizard. I think they got it wrong. He’s the best not-so-undrunk roadie we’ve ever met.

That version of Take Me Home Country Roads - we stole from Jason and the Scorchers. Warner Hodges is a beast on guitar.
Is that the same Jason that does God Bless the Ramones?

The same guy - Jason Ringenberg. Years ago it was Jason and the Scorchers. Warner Hodges was the lead guitarist. He’s now touring w/ Dan Baird [Georgia Satellites] and his band The Homemade Sin. Warner is a monster guitarist. We played on the same bill as Dan Baird and Warner in Miami a few years ago. Super nice guys. I later saw on his Insta feed he was touring in Europe and was wearing one of our t-shirts post show. Pretty cool.
fuck em man, it ain't easy walkin the righteous path.

Sweet. Ive been digging the Dan Baird stuff. Didn't know Hodge was with him. Gonna have to find a show.

Also the Muddy Roots fest had a post about nominating favorite lesser and unknown acts for a possible 2nd stage. I threw you guys in the ring with the Popes and Johnny Swagger's Tail Light Rebellion.

Is Bald Hills some sort of sexual reference?
