Just so difficult to imagine the show without her, but then again, Phil Hartman has been gone for so many years.

I remember being on a school trip to Stratford aged about 15, poking through an HMV and looking at The Offspring or something of that ilk. One of the sixth form boys shepherded me towards Lou Read's Transformer and told me that this was what I should be listening to. He was utterly right - it completely changed the way I thought about music. I loved it and him, and he'll be sorely missed. RIP Lou Read.

They started dating in episode 22 of season 22, "The Ned-liest Catch". By episode 1 of season 23, "The Falcon and the d'oh-man", they were wed.

I don't think either show has been broadcast in the UK, as yet; on satellite we are only on season 21 and on Channel 4, it's still season 19.

Legendary author, Neil Gaiman, pays tribute to the lamented, late and contrary, Lou Reed. Meanwhile, New York City mourns the loss of a favourite son.

Mrs Krabappel was fond of a drink, too.

The master thespian has passed. R.I.P oh great one. Lawrence of Arabia is worth another view. They don't make films like that anymore.
