I'm afraid it's true :(
The show has been nominated for Emmy's and so on so they might continue with it. Or so I hope. I doubt that fox wants it cancelled since it's generated tons of money, I guess the production team wants to stop it or something. I haven't read anything about it though so I'm just talking out of my ass here. Anyway, check out:

Do these people not know, that a drunk needs cartoons. In the wee small hours, when there is no one to talk to, what do you do put a fuckin' cartoon on. It takes no brain power at all and you can sit there all night, and laugh at nothing at all :twisted:

How the hell can you cancel a show like futurama.
Well the tagline at the beginning of the episode was
'See you on some other channel'
Maybe there's hope!
