I can see it now. A MDM pub crawl half of us in Janimals, the other in Snuggies. Stumbling about, swilling anything with an ABV because that all they've left then moving on to the next watering hole.

I would only wear an outfit like that if it had a functional tail. Like a monkey tail that could hold a drink or slap someone. Or like I always wanted to have an interchangeable tail, like switch out the monkey tail to a fox tail for formal occasions.
