231--well, soon to be 230--days until Halloween. We have offloaded a great deal of old Halloween props, and I'm planning a new look for this year. New house, new look. Since this is a shiny new neighborhood, I have no idea what the TOTS situation will be this year. I would love to hand out cups or minis of Halloween cheer to all the parents (Wow, can anyone over the age of whatever imagine their PARENTS taking them out Trick or Treating? It's a different world today, folks. ) but you gotta watch out for the old ABC rules. However, for personal consumption, I need to come up with a great big whomp of a drink, before the blistering heat sets in and saps me of the will to live. It is spring, you know, and Tumbleweed Junction is known for its vicious summer heat. 'Round these parts, summer runs from around May to the end of October. So I must get cracking.
