Scotch eggs are awesome. Someday I'd like to wash down a scotch egg with a glass of Glenfiddich.

Re: Shit we love:
Quiche is alright. But I'd settle for good, ol' fashioned scrambled eggs any day of the week. That's where the eggs with the deep yellow yolks really shine.
A hen that is happy will never lay an egg that is crappy, or something something.
See if you can't find yourself a pint of a proper Scotch ale to thrown into the mix... nice and malty without any excessive hop rubbish. Doesn't necessarily have to be from Scotland, just as long as it tastes good.scream ale wrote: ↑Thu Apr 16, 2020 9:15 amScotch eggs are awesome. Now that you mention it a Founder's scotch ale, backwoods or dirty bastard, would go nicely with a scotch egg.Badfellow wrote: ↑Thu Apr 16, 2020 10:23 amSee if you can't find yourself a pint of a proper Scotch ale to thrown into the mix... nice and malty without any excessive hop rubbish. *An early spring breeze when it is neither warm nor cold
*A mellow fire where the oak coals glow
*Uninterrupted, fluidic conversations of unlimited tangency
*Walt Whitman poems and wishy-washy essays by Thoreau. Spinoza knows ya. Sartre is an existential fartré
*Seeing old friends again. The more it changes, the more they stay the same
*Mr. Boston. Jerry Thomas. Trader Vic & Don the Beachcomber
*A cyclic resurgence of drink culture and being able to exchange ideas amongst a diverse synergy of bottle guzzlers who have a handle upon the handle of the handle of truth

Looking at a full bottle of whiskey, preferably with no coloring added.
Don't worry. We're in no hurry.

Nothing quite like a glass of whiskey to keep you company.
