Corn brats!
I'm on board with that.
How about selling a duo? Ya know, one in each hand?

1. Corn brat,
2. sauerkraut/brown mustard mixture, rolled around a stick,
frozen,
battered,
deep fried until juicy.

Mmmm.

Deep fried napkins too

Corn brats! Absolutely Patchez! Especially fried with Willies mustard and kraut. I would even eat it undrunk.

I remember in my youth walking around the mall and I can't remember if it was Hickory Farms or where it was but they would always pass out samples of cheddar-wurst. My bro and I were so stoked when Mom would actually buy some for us and it came on a stick. So now I am also thinking a corn fried cheddar-wurst would also be pretty epic. No one would turn that down with cold beers.
Okole maluna!

I'm going to Google Sauerkraut bratwurst to see if anyone makes those yet. Then I'm calling the patten office.

Think of it brats stuffed with kraut then dipped in corndog batter and deep fried till golden. then dipped in a side of yellow or brown stone ground mustards. maybe a honey mustard to offset the bite of the kraut.

Hickory Farms, yessah bub. That was the shizz.
They used to sample out their summah sausage as well.

Can you imagine walking around the fair grounds with a deep fried summah sausage dog on a stick?
With a Big Gulp® of mustard for dipping...

Ya know, the idea of having one corn dog of the almighty Bratwurst, and the other one being a frozen tube of only sauerkraut and brown mustard,

...well, that one fell apart when I bit into it. It got soggy too quickly. Oh well.

Frozen condiments do not hold well in such a deep fried tube on a stick, unless you want iced kraut with crust.

Hmmmm... Maybe that could be a new flavor of Slurpee?

I figured that would be the result. That's why I mentioned stuffing the kraut, not Connie or Oett, into the brat with the meat. Brown mustard dip.

Beer and bourbon and loud music. It usually brightens up a long day for me. Like it's doing right...now.

This shift that I'm currently plodding my way through is the only thing standing between me and the Beer, Bourbon and BBQ Festival this weekend.

Raw oysters in a Bloody. How have I never thought of that? Those little smoked oysters in the tin would work well as garnish too.
