Well, the closing is now October 17th. Lawyers pinky swear. I am taking them at their word, so I had the utilities switched to my name as of that date. But I had to put up a security deposit for the electric due to my last minute decision to have a ferris wheel installed in my backyard. Apparently, the electric company felt that was over the top and doubted my ability to pay.
