Thanks to Badfellow, my life is complete having tried them a few times at a haunt of his and now once again my life is incomplete having to carry on living without cheese curds. The pain is almost unbearable.

Ewwww, did I say that?
Anyway with the milk, a special booze infused käse is made. I'm sure Badfellow knows the brand. On the label there's a Babybel type cow with a big ol' apple butt.

Jersey Maid cows have big brown eyes with long eyelashes, and a crooked grin. Kinda like my early dates at MacLane High back in ze day.Artful Drunktective wrote: ↑Wed Oct 16, 2019 5:47 amJa. Where do you think Oettinger gets milked?

It's called Der Spray Käse, the same brand he uses as deodorant. Look for it in the schnitzel section of your favorite gas station/truck stop.Artful Drunktective wrote: ↑Wed Oct 16, 2019 5:47 amJa. Where do you think Oettinger gets milked?mistah willies wrote: ↑Wed Oct 16, 2019 5:18 am]

Der Spray Käse? Like this?
Might be good as a topping for a hot Bull Shot beverage... With petite crackers instead of marshmallows of course.

Town House makes sea salt & olive oil flatbread crisps. They're nice with pepperjack. Probably even better wit some hummus.

Is it worth the trouble to make a whole pot of cheese fondue when you're the only one eating?
variables:
*how badly does one need their cheese fondue fix?
*exactly how much fondue can one pack away before completely clogging their lower colon?
*is laziness, unconsciousness and/or lack of culinary skills a factor?
*is one willing to pay what the asshole Swiss are demanding for Gruyère, Emmentaler and the like?
*does one have alternate accessibility to microwave queso dip?

I have to say good ol' "Gene" can make a pretty mean homemade queso, or "cheese sauce" as we call it. Quite simple with a roux and what not but it is actually better than the store bought fondue I thought, which was heavy on the wine reduction or whatever. And you don't have to eat it all as it comes in handy for pastas like cheeseburger mac and of course casseroles in addition to breads and chips. It\s pretty much a once a week staple in the Oettinger household.

Oh my. Smoked gouda is a great go-to, as well as the one with bacon bits in it, but Chipotle? I gotta find this. Also, I'll put it on Chick'n in a Biscuit.Artful Drunktective wrote: ↑Thu Jan 02, 2020 11:47 amFound this super old pic on my phone. Who does this?!
