Artful Drunkareeno said something to the effect that there should be a thread dedicated to crackers. Wow, she must really like crackers. Mmmmmmm... buttery crackers.

But let's open up the field to include the cheeses. And what's cheese without a bite or two of charcuterie to accompany the rich symphony of gastronomic delight. I have a culinary boner just thinking about it.

Some things currently in the fridge:

*4 year aged Wisconsin cheddar. Bomb diggidy.

*Cave aged Grûyere.

*Humboldt Fog. Delicious, spreadable.

*Parmesan Reggiano.

*Italian Speck ham.

*Salame Calabrese. Nice and spicy, not Italian but some local artisan shit that's pretty fucking good.

*Club Crackers. Not in the fridge.

As a kid I loved this weird orangish pink port wine cheese with of course my favorite crackers ever, Chikn n' a Biskit. It was especially good when the cheese was formed in a ball covered in nuts. I think I post these crackers somewhere on the board at least once a week.

Indeed sir. Although despite my undying love for Saltines, I prefer Triscuits with EZ Cheez. It's also the perfect cheese for camping or outdoor activities. No knife involvement. No mess packaging. Doesn't need refrigeration. I wish I invented it. The question begs...which flavor? Not to be a total dweeb but I like the American.
